Foster + Partners<\/a> and developer Silverstein Properties have released renderings of the Two World Trade Center<\/a> skyscraper in New York, which will complete the development and contain headquarters for finance company American Express.<\/span><\/p>\n

Following a design that was leaked in 2022<\/a>, new images show a stepped supertall skyscraper<\/a> that will reach 1,226 feet (373 metres) at 55 storeys.<\/p>\n

Foster + Partners has released additional renderings of the Two World Trade Center skyscraper<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Terraces are peppered along the tower’s body, while images show a triple-height lobby.<\/p>\n

Located across from\u00a0Santiago Calatrava’s ribbed Oculus train station<\/a> and next to the Perelman Center by Rex<\/a>, Two World Trade has been under development for nearly 20 years.<\/p>\n

In 2020, following a back-and-forth between development partners<\/a>, Foster + Partners replaced BIG as the architect of the skyscraper.<\/p>\n

It will span more than nearly two million square feet (185,806 square metres), with the capacity to host 10,000 workers and be singularly dedicated to American Express offices.<\/p>\n
