3 Days of Design<\/a>, London Festival of Architecture<\/a> and UIA World Congress of Architects<\/a> are among the architecture and design events featured in Dezeen Events Guide<\/a> this month.<\/span><\/p>\n

Other events taking place this June include Orgatec Tokyo<\/a>, SXSW London<\/a>, NeoCon<\/a>, Fiskars Village Art and Design Biennale<\/a> and San Francisco Design Week<\/a>.<\/p>\n

SXSW London<\/strong><\/a>
\n1 to 6 June, UK<\/p>\n

Culture and technology<\/a> festival SXSW<\/a> returns for its second London edition\u00a0with a six-day programme taking place at over 20 venues clustered around the Truman Brewery in Shoreditch.<\/p>\n

The initial edition of the festival takes place in Austin<\/a> each year, inviting global creatives and music<\/a>, film<\/a> and art<\/a> enthusiasts to explore innovation across the industries.<\/p>\n

The festival encompasses a range of events, including a conference series, a music festival, a screening festival and a visual arts exhibition.<\/p>\n

San Francisco Design Week<\/strong><\/a>
\n1 to 12 June, USA<\/p>\n

Nonprofit organisation Design Bay Area hosts the 20th anniversary edition of San Francisco Design Week in June, hotings hundreds of events, including talks<\/a>, exhibitions<\/a>, workshops and parties.<\/p>\n

Under the theme Multitudes, the Californian<\/a> festival highlights the power of plurality this year, celebrating the variety in design disciplines, identities and perspectives.<\/p>\n

Each year, the event welcomes over 60,000 visitors from around the world.<\/p>\n

London Festival of Architecture<\/strong><\/a>
\n1 to 30 June, UK<\/p>\n

Returning in 2026 under the theme Belonging, the London Festival of Architecture<\/a> brings the city to life with a month-long activation across 11 neighbourhoods.<\/p>\n

This iteration explores the concepts of connection and belonging in a city like London<\/a>, aiming to instigate change and help communities to grow even after the programme ends.<\/p>\n

The calendar includes installations<\/a>, exhibitions, talks, screenings, workshops, tours<\/a> and performances.<\/p>\n

Orgatec Tokyo<\/strong><\/a>
\n2 to 4 June, Japan<\/p>\n

Orgatec Tokyo is an international workplace trade show gathering design industry professionals in the Japanese<\/a> capital since 2022, following 70 years of the event in Cologne<\/a>, Germany.<\/p>\n

The show takes over four halls at the Tokyo International Exhibition Center, with more than 150 brands participating in the exhibition, seminars and awards.<\/p>\n

This year’s edition follows the theme Shift Design.<\/p>\n

Fiskars Village Art and Design Biennale<\/strong><\/a>
\n7 June to 30 August, Finland<\/p>\n

The 2026 edition of Fiskars Village Art and Design Biennale once again turns the historic Finnish<\/a> village of Fiskars into an international hub of contemporary art, design<\/a> and architecture<\/a>.<\/p>\n

There are two main exhibitions in the programme: Sense of Water analyses human relationships with water and Dew explores the cycle of water as a life engine.<\/p>\n

Alongside the main showcases, the event features a parallel series of exhibitions, performances, tours and open studios organised by artists and galleries in the region.<\/p>\n

NeoCon<\/strong><\/a>
\n8 to 10 June, USA<\/p>\n

NeoCon<\/a>, the commercial interior design fair, returns to the Mart in Chicago<\/a> with a three-day exhibition of over 450 brands and a schedule of talks, workshops, tours, awards and parties.<\/p>\n

The showcase features thousands of new products from furniture<\/a>, textiles<\/a>, finishes<\/a> and technology brands, covering a range of sectors, including education, hospitality, retail, healthcare and residential.<\/p>\n

Like every year, the event hosts a preview on 7 June, allowing visitors to explore the exhibition between 12:00pm and 4:00pm.<\/p>\n

3 Days of Design<\/strong><\/a>
\n10 to 12 June, Denmark<\/p>\n

Returning for its 13th edition with the theme Make This Moment Matter, this year’s 3 Days of Design<\/a> is expected to host over 400 global brands in a city-wide activation.<\/p>\n

Programme highlights include the Material Matters<\/a> group exhibition, focusing\u00a0on materiality across various architecture and design disciplines, and the Entering the Now Symposium<\/a>, exploring the future of the industry in terms of innovation, social action and sustainability.<\/p>\n

Festival attendees can check out Dezeen’s digital guide<\/a> and interactive map<\/a>, helping navigate the eight participating districts in Copenhagen<\/a>.<\/p>\n

UIA World Congress of Architects<\/strong><\/a>
\n28 June to 2 July, Spain<\/p>\n

UIA World Congress of Architects<\/a> is an annual conference hosted by The International Union of Architects (UIA), convening architecture professionals, students and institutions from all over the world in a cultural exchange.<\/p>\n

Its 29th edition takes place in Barcelona<\/a> under the theme Becoming. Architectures for a Planet in Transition, gathering more than 10,000 participants and 250 speakers.<\/p>\n

Alongside more than 100 sessions across eight stages, attendees can also explore a central exhibition and 70 architectural itineraries happening across the region.<\/p>\n
